Three have suddenly started charging £3 for 500Mb - a 50% increase from the previous £2. Has the service got 50% better? 50% faster perhaps? Sadly no. Three’s broadband has not improved one jot in the three years I have been using it. One thing Three are very good at is telling customers and potential customers that they are just on the cusp of some huge improvement. They have been ‘upgrading’ their network eve since I first started using them for business and personal use.
I don’t ‘do’ contracts with Three anymore ever since the network became unusable for 2 or 3 months 2 years ago and they prevaricated and bullshitted their way through by claiming the dongle needed fixing etc. Problems with a mobile phone contract also exposed worrying relationship between the Three stores and the main company.
A 50% increase for a service that never improves is pretty outrageous.
