…out of the pan and into the fire
Using Skype had become near impossible using the Three dongle which has recently given up the ghost. A switch to T-Mobile. i already had the dongle. I visited T-mobile in Chiswick to purchase a ‘top-up’, Unlike Vodafone, at least T-mobile don’t disable their SIMs if you haven’t used them for a few months.
Sadly, T-mobile proved equally atrocious; Skype is a complete no-no and, even worse, the internet connection was constantly dropping.
I am not the only one suffering it seems. A quick visit online reveals that quite a few people seem unhappy with the constant dropping and various services like Skype not working.
It does seem strange in this day and age that mobile companies are simply unable to deliver basic service levels. There are limits on the usage levels on these dongles so they cannot simply blame it on excessive ‘demand’ at peak times. Indeed I experience problems right around the clock!
