We have previously discussed the fact that you don’t need to register your car and that to do so gives the State power to grab it. We have also discussed the Common Law Right To Travel - which crops up in the International Declaration of Human Rights - which states that you do not need a ‘permit’ or license to travel. A license cannot make that which is illegal, legal. Travelling with a deregistered car and without a license is one thing, but what about Insurance? Don’t we ‘need’ insurance to guarantee that other people are safeguarded financially against any recklessness in our driving?
